Cherie Colyer

About

Professional network technician by day, novelist by night, Cherie lives a quiet life in the Chicago suburbs. From a young age, storytelling was woven into her world. In first grade, she discovered her love for writing when her class was assigned its first book report. The book she chose had no words—just pictures, allowing her imagination to take flight as she created a story all her own. That moment sparked her lifelong passion for writing.

Initially drawn to essays, Cherie didn’t sit down to write her first novel until adulthood. That first book holds a special place in her heart—it was the story that solidified her love for crafting narratives. Since then, she has written several books, some destined to remain tucked away, but all instrumental in shaping her ability to weave together tales infused with a paranormal twist. Her fascination with mythical elements finds a home in her novels, bringing readers into worlds where the extraordinary feels entirely possible.
